- Who we are
- SDZ Studio is a video, photography and content studio in Sydney NSW, run by Munesu Marevanhema. Contact us about privacy at info@sdzstudio.com.
- What we collect
- What you give us in a form: your name, business name, phone, email, Instagram handle and your answers, or on the contact form your name, phone or email and message. We also note the page and ad link you arrived from, so we know which ad or post brought you. If you email us or become a client, we keep those emails and the details of your project and invoices. We only ask for what we need to reply to you and do the work.
- How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, run any giveaway you enter (including judging entries and contacting entrants), quote and deliver our work, invoice you, and measure how our ads perform. If you ticked the box for offers, we also email you SDZ news and offers. You can stop those at any time.
- Who else handles it
- We don’t sell your information. It is handled for us by the services we run the business on: Cloudflare (hosts this website and our client system), Google Workspace (our email), Resend (sends us an alert when a form comes in), Meta (measures our ads, see Cookies below) and Anthropic’s Claude (an AI assistant inside our client system that helps us sort enquiries and draft follow-ups, which we check before anything is sent). These providers may store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States. We use them on their business terms, which limit how they can use your data.
- Ad measurement
- On our ad landing pages, the Meta Pixel tells Meta that someone viewed the page or sent the form, so we can see which ads work. It doesn’t send your form answers. If you become a client, we may also tell Meta that an ad led to a sale, using a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email or phone that Meta matches to its own accounts.
- Storage and security
- Your details live in our own client system, behind a staff login, and in our email. Only SDZ staff who need them can see them. We keep them while we need them for the reasons above, then delete or de-identify them.
- Your choices
- To see or correct what we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or stop hearing from us, email info@sdzstudio.com. We’ll respond within 30 days. Every marketing email lets you unsubscribe.
- Complaints
- If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, email info@sdzstudio.com and we’ll look into it. If we don’t resolve it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
